Courses run each term for ten weeks, they are free to attend and open to anyone. The courses are informal so you do not need to come with any prior experience or knowledge.
Our next term will begin the week commencing the 16th April 2018. We have two venues- City Centre and Orchard Park.

Orchard Park courses:
Crafting Together(Wednesday 11-12pm) on Orchard Park: Want to get creative? Join this relaxed informal course which gives students to chance to make friends and have fun together while learning a new craft each week. This course in run in partnership with Hull training and Adult Education.
Positive Living (Wednesdays 1-2pm) on Orchard Park: Want to overcome anxiety and depression? Then this course can have a positive impact on your life. Come and be part of a relaxed, informal and confidential group. This course will help you with the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy principles to help you overcome anxiety and depression and live life more positively.

The courses at Jubilee Central are:
NeedleCraft (Tuesdays 1-3pm): Want to get creative? Join this relaxed and informal course which gives students a chance to learn a new skill such as sewing, knitting, crochet and cross stitch. This course is suitable for beginners and those with more experience.
Positive Living (Tuesdays 1-3pm): Want to overcome anxiety and depression? Then this course can have a positive impact on your life. Come and be part of a relaxed, informal and confidential group. Improve Your English(Wednesdays 10-11.30am): Do you want to get better with your English? This is a relaxed,imformal environment for those whose first language is not English.Join us to have fun,make friends and practice your English.
CAP Release Group (Wednesdays 1-3pm): Struggling with any type of addictive behaviour? This 12 step course empowers people to break free from life controlling habits such as drinking, smoking, gambling, internet or drug addictions. The release group provides a place of trust and security, where you can meet with others in a similar situation. You will be offered emotional and practical support through the help of trained coaches and weekly group session. This course is run with the support of ‘Christians Against Poverty’.
Indoor Sport and Games (Thursday 10am-11.30): Have fun playing table tennis, pool, chess, draughts, dominoes and more. Join us each week as we let our competitive side out whilst making friends, having fun and developing confidence. The sessions are aimed at students of all levels and abilities and all equipment is provided.
Cooking on a budget (Thursdays 11am-1pm): Would you like to learn to cook from scratch within a budget? Students on this cookery course will be taught how to cook meals from scratch with simple ingredients that don't break the purse or wallet. With the support of our encouraging tutor team you will cook a different meal each week which you will be able to enjoy eating together.This course in run in partnership with Hull training and Adult Education.
Keyboard Workshop (Friday 11am-12pm): Ever wanted to learn to play music or improve your skills. This friendly workshop will help and encourage you to do this. Don’t worry if you don’t own an instrument yet, we have some you can use. Suitable from learner to intermediate skill level.
Community Allotment Gardening: We have an excting new course starting soon-details will be released when available.
All courses have free coffee/tea and biscuits available.
At the end of each term there is a free celebration event where food, drinks and games are put on for students who have attended the courses regularly. Certificates of attendance and participation are also given out to regular attenders.
